Attend this session to obtain insights on securing capital for your small business and an overview of the pertinent SBA programs.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run and grow their businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the SBA. The SBA administers a Congressional grant which provides SCORE with funding. SCORE volunteers work with the SBA to provide small business mentoring and training to entrepreneurs through SBA offices.

Kerrie Hurd was appointed as the Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration in the Seattle District Office in January 2017, where she is  responsible for the delivery of SBA’s programs and services throughout most of Washington state and the northern counties of Idaho.

Robert H. Nelson was appointed district director of SBA’s Massachusetts District Office on November 26, 2007. The district office is located in Boston with a branch office in Springfield, Massachusetts.
